I succesfully changed some files and i have the installer in English. From CHONG's release!

How to do it:

1. Extract the DEADSPACE.iso in a folder.
2. Enter in the Support folder and open "localization.ini" with Notepad.
3. Change where you see "de" and write "en". Save by pressing CTRL+S.
4. Double-click the autorun.exe and VOILA!

Try this:

- Disconnnect any and all game controller (joystick, ErgoDex, Nostromo, Saitek, etc).
- Try the game.
- If it works, then start reconnecting ONE controller at a time until it fail again.
- When it fail, then you found the controller the GAME to not like.
- If you really want to play with the controller then see if a driver update helps.
- Otherwise, keep it unplugged when playing Dead Space until they patch.

Something the seemingly difficult issue have simple solution.

Electronic Arts/Dead Space/Text: in there is a file called "localetable" I've played around with it and some of the text changed to english the other to french, the code in this wordpad file can somehow be changed to get english text.
